Itinerary

Choquequirao 4 Days Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco to Chikiska

Your adventure begins bright and early in Cusco, where we’ll pick you up from your hotel between 6:00 and 6:30 AM. Our first stop is the Saywite Archaeological Park, home to an incredible carved Inca stone. After exploring the site, we head to Capuliyoc for a picturesque lunch with views of the Apurimac Canyon. Post-lunch, we start our hike, descending through the Cocamasana viewpoints to reach Chikiska, where a cozy rural lodge awaits us for the night.

Day 2: Chikiska to Marampata

Today, we continue our trek, crossing the Playa Rosalinas and ascending towards Marampata. The views are nothing short of breathtaking, with lush greenery contrasting against the snow-capped peaks. It’s a challenging day, but the beauty of the landscape makes every step worthwhile. We’ll set up camp at Marampata and share stories over a delicious dinner.

Day 3: Choquequirao Exploration

This is the day you’ve been waiting for! We spend the entire day exploring the Choquequirao archaeological site. Discover the lesser-known Inca ruins, intricate stonework, terraced fields, and ceremonial plazas. It’s a full day of immersion in history and culture.

Day 4: Return to Cusco
