Salkantay 5 Days Trek Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco to Soraypampa, Trek to Salkantay Base Camp  

Your adventure begins with an early morning drive from Cusco to Soraypampa, the starting point of your trek. After a hearty breakfast, embark on a challenging hike towards the majestic Salkantay Pass (4,600 meters). The ascent offers stunning views of snow-capped peaks and glacial lakes. After crossing the pass, descend into a lush valley where you’ll set up camp for the night.

Day 2: Salkantay Base Camp to Collpapampa  

After breakfast, continue your trek through diverse ecosystems. As you descend from the high mountains, you’ll experience a dramatic change in scenery, transitioning to warmer and more tropical landscapes. Arrive at Collpapampa, a small village surrounded by beautiful waterfalls, where you’ll set up camp for the night.

Day 3: Collpapampa to La Playa
