Salkantay and Inca Trail Combined Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco to Piskacucho (Km 82), Trek to Wayllabamba  

Your adventure begins with an early morning drive from Cusco to Piskacucho, the starting point of the Inca Trail. After a briefing and packing your gear, start your trek along the Urubamba River. The first day’s hike takes you through beautiful valleys and past archaeological sites like Patallacta. Arrive at Wayllabamba, where you’ll set up camp for the night.

Day 2: Wayllabamba to Pacaymayo  

On the second day, prepare for a challenging ascent to Warmiwañusca Pass, the highest point of the trek at 4,215 meters. The climb is rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. After a well-deserved descent, you’ll camp at Pacaymayo, enjoying dinner and relaxing under the stars.

Day 3: Pacaymayo to Wiñay Wayna
